Update on Paid Reviews

By way of a short update on my last post, whilst waiting for PPP to approve my Make Money site, I submitted it to Smorty to see if they’d like it.

This is after they rejected my Honest Way blog several months ago when despite being over 3 moths old, it was only PR0. Well, they accepted Make Money within a few hours or submission, so I started posting straight away!

Well, why not?

Something that I also just found out about and why Smorty will never accept The Honest Way is because, similar to Loud Launch, they will not accept a blog with a url like “mysite.com/blog.”

Don’t quite know why that is, as it’s a legit url and eminently more stable than a free hosted blog (my apologies to those of you who use them - oh, that includes me!)

They will accept self hosted blogs with just about any other configuration, like a subdomain like Make Money, or a top level domain like my other make money blog “makeblogmoney.com.”

Ho hum, not a problem really as it would have meant swamping the poor old Honest Way blog with too many paid reviews, which I don’t want to do as it will devalue the blog in the long run. Better to keep it just for PPP and only post a maximum of one paid review a day plus one good unpaid post to follow. That’s fair, I think.

The other two blogs can handle more paid reviews because that’s exactly what they were created to do - make money, of course!
